2007文化財ウィーク(23)「御城とそれを取り巻く吹上・北の丸・西の丸下・大手前・大名小路で構成された内曲輪を描き、赤い付箋で元禄16年(1703)大地震によって破壊された石垣・櫓・門等の復旧工事の分担を示す。本丸中之門には松平右衛門督丁場(因幡国鳥取藩主)、清水門には上杉民部大輔丁場(出羽国米沢藩主)など作業分担者の名が見える。(Diagram showing the areas builders were in charge of inside and outside the walls of Edo Castle in building it)This diagram shows the area inside the walls consisting of the castle surrounded by Fukiage, Kitanomaru, Nishinomarushita, Ōtemae, and Daimyōkoji, and red slips reveal how the construction work was divided during the restoration of the stone walls, turrets, gates, etc., that were destroyed in the great earthquake of 1703 . The names of the workers placed in charge of different areas can be seen. For example, the Honmaru Nakano-mon Gate is marked, "Matsudaira Uemon'nokami construction site (lord of the Tottori Domain of Inaba Province)," while the Shimizu-mon Gate is marked, "Uesugi Minbutaihu construction site (lord of the Yonezawa Domain of Dewa Province)."」
